Founded in 2002 by designer and entrepreneur Otto Tromm, Beamax combines customer needs with cutting-edge technology. Beamax was born from the idea that AV products shouldn’t overpower interior design and personal taste. Beamax has addressed this issue by bringing award-winning design and manufacturing to customers who demand performance and style in equal measure. Installation is easy. Operation is simple. Now headquartered in Belgium, Beamax is one of the world’s fastest growing manufacturers and developers of projection screens. After launching with just two models, the company now has a product line with hundreds of home theatre projection screen options and the award-winning Dellegno range of discrete cinema products. Manual, motorised, fixed or in-ceiling they have every style covered. Great value and fast delivery times make Beamax a firm favourite.

Beamax A-Velvet Curved Projection Screen - Matt White with Black Back
Matt White with Black Back
The Beamax A-velvet curved screen allows you to re-create the immersive experience of a commercial theater in your own home. In stead of a perfectly straight frame, there is a slight curve in the screen, which means the edges of the projected image seem to wrap around the viewer. This creates a more immersive environment and almost draws you into the movie action. It goes without saying that this screen also comes with the benefit of a deep-black border for even more impact of your images. The wide selection of fabrics gives you everything from a reference matt white fabric to an acoustic, micro perforated, version that let’s the sound pass through the screen.

Beamax Q-series Projection Screen - Matt White with Black back
* Because of the maximum coil height a weld seam can appear on the fabric.
The Beamax Q-Series, Masking screen, is made for the true home cinema enthousiast which doesn’t want to compromise when it comes to black borders and aspect ratio. The screen is distinguished by the presence of two independent projection surfaces (a top masking surface and a rear projection surface), attached to two rollers: by synchronising them the format of the projection area can be varied, to obtain an image which is always bordered with black edges, enhancing contrast.

Beamax A-Velvet Fixed Frame Projector Screen - Matt White & Black Back
* Because of the max coil height a weld seam can appear on the fabric
** Straight frame 80mm
The Beamax A-velvet frame screen ensures the maximum level of contrast between the projected image and the black velvet border running along the whole screen. Thanks to this contrast the images on screen are taken to another, much higher level. The 4-way tension that is applied to the projection screen fabric creates a perfectly flat surface. This is the ultimate mix for high end dedicated rooms and high resolution projection, without a moiré effect. The A-Velvet has an aluminum frame covered with high quality light-absorbing velvet flock.

Beamax A-Series Projector Screen - Matt White & Black back
A-Series - Fixed frame screen
* Because of the maximum coil height a weld seam can appear on the fabric.
The Beamax A-Series fixed frame screens are an intelligent choice for rooms in which the screen must be permanently in sight. The aluminum frame is durable and surrounds the projected image. This border enhances the perceived contrast of the projected image. The unique feature of frame screens is of course the perfectly flat screen fabric obtained by the even tensioning of all 4 sides.
