Falcon was founded in 1972 as Falcon Electronics by the first employee (1961) at KEF Electronics Ltd., Malcolm Jones. As Senior Development Engineer Malcolm did most of the design and development of the legendary KEF drive units - the B139, B200, B110, T15, T27 and the systems in which they were incorporated. He left KEF in 1974 having just completed the famous Reference Series 104 system and work on an active professional monitor to work full time at Falcon Acoustics Ltd.

There are 3 models in the range, all of which have no-compromise 25mm MDF cabinets wrapped in man-made leather, and feature interchangeable side panels so that your speakers can always match their surroundings. Falcon’s commitment to quality is further shown by the use of heavy duty custom Falcon designed rear terminals are mounted on 2mm stainless steel plates throughout, and for the floor-standing Studio 30, a heavy plinth is provided complete with CNC engineered stainless steel spikes.

Based upon classic traditional designs from the 1970's, these elegant stands are 60 cms tall, handed, pre-filled and tuned, and have leveling adjustment through custom heavy duty stainless steel spikes.

The Falcon Acoustics Classic 15 ohm LS3/5a, fully Licenced by the BBC, and hand-assembled by Falcon in Oxford England. It is the only LS3/5a in production that faithfully replicates the original BBC design published in October 1976.
The result of nearly 2 years development, the Falcon LS3/5a is a true British-made classic 15 ohm LS3/5a. It continues the long tradition of the genuine British BBC-Licenced LS3/5a stretching back to the 1960’s.
