Amplifier legend Krell Industries has announced its new K-300i Integrated amplifier which boasts newly developed amplifier circuit with Krell iBias that can deliver 150w @ 8ohms and 300w @ 4 ohms. IBias provides the sonic benefit of Class A operation without the excessive heat and power consumption of traditional class A designs.
The K-300i also boasts a 770VA Transformer and 80,000 uF capacitance for excellent signal control and dynamics. Krell Current Mode to[topology is used with fully differential circuitry that runs from the input stage through to the last output gain stage proving and extremely linear and extended frequency response curve with smooth, effortless highs and extremely dynamic bass energy.

The amplifier design uses Krell Current Mode technology that is fully differential and discrete in the critical gain stages. This results in a highly linear and extended frequency response, well beyond the range of hearing, for smooth effortless highs and tight high impact bass.
The power supply consists of two 787VA toroidal transformers and 160,000uF of capacitance. This is shared among all the channels so all of that power is available to the channels with the most demand.

Krell Illusion II - Pre Amplifier

The Illusion II is the perfect centerpiece for a world class digital and analog audio system. Added to the normal selection of balanced and single- ended inputs are five digital inputs. The digital module features AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical digital inputs for use with streaming devices or other digital sources.
DESCRIPTION :
Circuitry Highlights: the Illusion II preamplifier is a dual monaural design with the left and right channels afforded their own power supply regulation and individual circuit boards. All signal gain is executed with surface mount technology using proprietary multiple-output current mirrors with nearly 500 times the open loop linearity of other designs. Featuring 700 kHz bandwidth in a zero feedback, balanced, Krell Current Mode design, the Illusion II shares the same design philosophy as its bigger brother, the flagship Illusion preamplifier. Negative feedback is not used anywhere in the preamp, nor is it necessary. Open-loop distortion is typically less than 0.003%. The volume control is realized with a balanced resistor ladder - bandwidth and transient response of the preamp circuitry are virtually unaffected by the volume setting.
