Lux Corporation was established in 1925 when radio broadcasting started in Japan. The radio department opened in Lux Corporation, Osaka, which handled pictures and frames at that time. As the department displayed radio receivers in the store showcases for the first time in Osaka, almost all the passengers stopped there to listen to the superb sound of the receivers. Luxmans history of seeking higher sound quality started from this moment.

The Texas Instruments PCM5102A digital-to-analog converter helps deliver a signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB, presenting music against a background very close to absolute silence.
