Mission Electronics was founded in 1977 by Farad Azima and was immediately recognised as one of the leaders in the development of acoustic engineering through its application of new technologies to create some of the most rewarding loudspeakers in every market sector. Currently Mission’s team of engineering experts is headed by award-winning audio designer Peter Comeau whose history with the Mission brand stems from his being Mission’s Director of Acoustic Design in 1999 where he was instrumental in achieving numerous accolades for the brand.Through an engineering-led approach to product development, Mission remains the standard by which other loudspeaker companies are measured. With huge investments and group resources that include the capability to manufacture every single component of each product, Mission will continue to define loudspeaker reproduction standards in the coming years.

With a 25mm soft dome tweeter and a 130mm bass/mid driver the Mission LX-2 Speakers are the promising first model to be constructed by Mission's new team of design experts.
Utilising Missions traditional driver configuration and placing the tweeter below the mid/bass, the Mission LX-2 Speakers have been constructed with Mission's roots at the forefront of the design team's minds. The traditional arrangement facilitates times alignment between drivers for better synchronisation of sound production from each speaker as it reaches the listener. The LX-2 uses a 25mm micro-fibre dome tweeter and a 13cm fibre composite mid and bass driver through a 4th order design single-wire crossover. Due to the care in which the drives have been developed, the Mission LX-2 Speakers deliver low distortion and an even response.
