Sonos PLAY:3 Compact All-In-One Player

The PLAY:3 uses 3 state-of the-art digital amplifiers individually coupled with 3 speakers to deliver great sound to any room. The wireless music system delivers a pure, clean sound that is perfect for bringing room-filling music to your kitchen, bedroom, office, or any room in your home. A bass radiator produces powerful low notes while two mid-range drivers and one tweeter fills out the sound.

One of its unique features is an orientation sensor inside the speaker that determines whether the box is horizontal or upright. When it's horizontal, it provides a stereo spread, but turn it vertically, and it switches to a focused mono beam (it'll pair up with another Play:3 to produce stereo together, one channel from each speaker). Like other Sonos zoneplayers, you can expand your system painlessly by just adding another box and syncing it to your system.
