Tannoy Revolution XT 8F Loudspeakers

The flagship revolution XT 8F is a substantial floorstanding loudspeaker offering the scale and dynamics of real live music in a loudspeaker that looks every bit as good as it sounds. The combination of a 200mm (8.00”) Dual Concentric driver and a 200mm (8.00”) auxiliary bass driver is a configuration that has found exceptional success throughout Tannoy’s illustrious history and the Revolution XT 8F builds on these strengths. The new Omnimagnet Dual further refines bass performance with its linear LF response and exceptional timbre accuracy, while its new HF section with Torus-Ogive waveguide delivers smooth HF extension with outstanding imaging. The Revolution XT 8F crossover uses low loss laminated core inductors and audiophile components throughout and further benefits from high purity oxygen free copper (OFC), silver plated wiring.

Tannoy Revolution XT 6F Loudspeakers

The smaller of two prestigious floorstanding models in the Revolution XT range, the Revolution XT 6F is a compact loudspeaker that delivers a dynamic full-range performance. Its 150mm (6.00”) Omnimagnet Dual Concentric driver is augmented with a matching 150mm (6.00”) bass driver to deliver LF extension down to below 40Hz. Both the Omnimagnet Dual, with its 25mm Linear PEI dome HF unit and Torus-Ogive waveguide, and the auxiliary driver feature a multi-fibre cone with rubber surround and a 44mm edge wound voice coil to ensure seamless bass performance. The Revolution XT 6F crossover uses low loss laminated core inductors and audiophile components throughout and further benefits from high purity oxygen free copper (OFC), silver plated wiring.

Within the K-Series are a number of new technologies developed to allow superior performance over previous models.
We have found that, if properly implemented, High Velocity Slot Ports (HVSP) can produce dramatic improvements over conventional cylinder ports. HVSP achieves lower audible distortion, by virtue of its lower intrinsic drag and reduced turbulent airflow within the port. HVSP can also lower air loading to the mid and bass drivers, which helps to keep them operating in a more linear region throughout their excursion range.

Linn Exakt Akubarik Speakers

Exakt Akubarik speakers combine our integrated Aktiv technology developed for Akubarik speakers with Exakt technology to put the source in the speaker.
The five channels in each speaker are fed by a single digital input using the Exakt Link output from Akurate Exakt DSM. The on-board digital crossover in each speaker delivers an independently controlled signal to each of the drive units, via independent volume controls, DACs and power amplifiers.
