Linn's Akubarik includes a host of ground-breaking technical developments as well building on key technologies from their reference Klimax 350A loudspeakers.

What’s Special About Akubarik?
There are many aspects to Akubarik that make it a very special loudspeaker - here are some of the highlights:

Sonus Faber's Venere 2.5 is a 2.5 way floor-standing vented box speaker characterised by its Lyre shape, a homage to its 'mother' Aida and at the same time a key element in functionality and aesthetically of high quality. The Lyre shaped cabinet ensures structural strength and control of spurious resonance, creating a listening experience that is clear, detailed and extremely dynamic; the front reflex conduct furthermore makes it easy to place in the listening environment by avoiding unwanted reflection with the rear wall.

When KEF gave their engineers free rein to create a fitting showcase for their technology leadership, they developed a revolutionary prototype that looked and performed like no other: Concept Blade, the world's first single apparent source loudspeaker.

Its phenomenal sonic capabilities met with such praise that KEF decided to produce an edition that serious audiophiles could actually own. After two years of painstaking refinement - and in time to mark 50 years of KEF innovation - Blade is the result.

The ESL-2912 represents the pinnacle of Quad’s achievements and incorporates enhancements in speaker dress, metal work, updated panels, 24K gold plated speaker terminals, Piano Rosewood trim whilst retaining the original Quad philosophy.

The ElectroMotion ESL (EM-ESL) represents a brave new direction for electrostatic loudspeaker design. Featuring a full-sized 34-inch tall curvilinear XStat™ electrostatic transducer the new ESL performs more like a mini-flagship than an entry level audiophile speaker. Long time MartinLogan enthusiasts are sure to describe ElectroMotion ESL as the second-coming of the legendary Aerius electrostatic speaker which debuted in 1992 and went on to sell in record numbers. The new ESL, however, boasts 40 percent more radiating surface, a superbly integrated and authoritative bass performance, and a sensitivity rated at 91dB. In addition, the ESL is capable of being effortlessly powered by both receivers and high-end amplifiers alike.

The exceptional ability of the Model 7T surpasses the competence of conventional systems through its exacting design and the high quality of its enclosures, networks, and drivers.

Multiple layers of curved, stressed, and laminated MDF provide non-resonant behavior unmatched in conventional flat panel construction. Seven full cross section braces remove any remaining subtle coloration. The resulting labyrinthine structure is virtually inert.
