Atacama HD Floor Spike Shoes

Spike Shoes allow the use of spikes on laminate/wood floors and also offer an additional degree of isolation. Supplied in a set of 4. Available in satin black and nickel silver. Atacama High Density spike shoes are made of a copper /zinc alloy construction, and feature a hole on the upper surface to locate the spike and on its lower surface, a non slip E.P.D.M. elastomer membrane designed to protect delicate floor coverings and aid sound dampening. Each HD-S spike shoe has a diameter of 20mm, making the HD-S suitable for most speaker stands and Hifi rack applications with a overall maximum weight spread over all four shoes of 70KG. They are available in a choice of two colours, Satin Black or Nickel Silver.

By adjusting the amount of filler used, you can experiment to find the optimum amount of filler to suit your speakers .Featuring new zinc coated micro-discs, the NEW UPGRADED Atabite inert filler now gives increased density to volume over the old Atabite inert filler and has a uniformed particulate size giving consistant sonic performance. The Zinc coating reduces any oxidisation and degradation and enhances the visual aesthetics.

The Ortofon stylus gauge is a very simple tool to enable you to set your stylus tracking pressure correctly. This is really important to get secure tracking and prevent damage to your records. Many will know of the T Force gauge, as it is usually shipped with the majority of high fidelity tone arms, be it Wilson Benesch, Naim, SME etc. Unfortunately the stylus pressure dials on many tonearms are notoriously inaccurate. The use of a tracking force guage is a far more accurate method for setting the tracking weight.
