Use this remarkable contact-enhancing spray on every connector in your system (RCA plugs, binding posts, AC plugs, tube pins, fuses). It'll cost you half an hour's work, but you'll probably improve your sound by nearly as much as doubling your amplifier investment. DeoxIT Gold deoxidises, cleans and then penetrates gold-plated surfaces to improve conductivity, reduce wear, reduce noise, lower distortion, and more. The data sheet suggests that treatment lasts one to ten years depending on atmospheric conditions and the quality of the connectors, but I defy even one of you to leave your systems alone for that long.

The Cardas Frequency Sweep and Burn-in Record is a unique tuning tool for system set-up, diagnostics and maintenance. It was produced by George Cardas and mastered by Stan Ricker. The "Sweeper", in addition to the standard tones, includes relative and absolute polarity checks, vocal channel identification and frequency sweeps that ultrasonically clean the cartridge stylus and degauss the entire system. And, locked, pink noise grooves that repeat endlessly, blank plateaus, even a sync label to check platter speed. All on a 180 gram pressing with a smiling Stan cover.

The Cartridge Man Digital Levelling Gauge

It is a well known fact that for optimum performance, a turn-table should always be precisely levelled. Whilst bubble-levels have always been used for the levelling procedure, best accuracy is not always guaranteed and it can certainly be frustrating to centre the bubble. The Cartridge Man has now introduced a highly accurate, easy-to-use and all-electronic Digital Levelling Gauge. This unit presents a digital read-out of both planes simultaneously to a resolution and accuracy of 0.1g. Four quadrant LEDs give an unambiguous indication of which side(s) need lowering or raising.

The Cartridge Man Digital Stylus Force Gauge

Users of vinyl are well aware of the importance of being able to accurately set their cartridge tracking down-force. Failure to do this can result in anything from degraded sonic performance, through to mis-tracking and even damage to the record and stylus.
The only readily available method of setting the down-force has been the Shure Force Balance - fine value for money, but suffering from only 0.1g resolution, somewhat fiddly set-up and a slightly non-optimum measurement height.

Black-delrin light-weight record clamp, as used on the GyroDec. A superbly engineered, easy to use clamp that really makes a difference.
This device clamps the record to the platter. This flattens out the warps, and it also couples the LP tightly to the platter so that internal resonances can be drained away from the stylus, as if the LP effectively is of a much higher thickness and rigidity. A felt washer raises the LP at its center: under action of the clamp the record's playable area is then very tightly pressed down onto the flat platter, right to its edges.
