The iW 62 TDC is Tannoy flagship in-wall speaker in the iW series, combining the abilities and performances of the latest Dual Concentric driver technology, a SuperTweer and an auxiliary bass driver for extended low frequency response. Using a large format chassis built from UV stabilized ABS, the iW 62 TDC leverages the performance of the class-leading iW 6 TDC and adds a second 165 mm (6.50”) bass driver for astounding bass response down to 35Hz.

Stepping up the iW range into very high performance models, the iW 6 TDC combines Tannoy’s latest 165 mm (6.50”) Dual Concentric driver with an auxiliary super tweeter for full-bandwidth response right out to over 51kHz. Set within the proven iW series ABS chassis, the Dual features a bespoke cone material chosen for it linear response and wide dynamic range, along with a 25 mm (1.00”) titanium dome tweeter set in the throat of the main driver. The SuperTweeter is derived straight from Tannoy’s high-end hi-fi designs, and is built on a second high efficiency 25mm (1.00”) titanium dome HF unit.

The iW 6DS model is an entry-level in-wall loudspeaker that delivers a big sound in a straightforward and easy to fit package. This two-way design combines 165 mm (6.50”) mid-bass driver with a 25mm titanium dome tweeter in the ultra-rigid iW UV stabilized ABS chassis. The main mid-bass driver boasts long-throw, high efficiency motor system. Its clean and open midband performance is further enhanced through the smooth transition to Tannoy’s Wideband tweeter unit.

Martin Logan's exquisite Folded Motion tweeter boasts a radiating surface 8-times larger than a typical 1" dome tweeter. The Folded Motion tweeter works by moving air (which creates sound) perpendicular to the folded ridges of the diaphragm, similar to how an accordion works.

Internals including massive air-core coils, thick, high-purity 16-gauge copper wire, and low-distortion polypropylene capacitors ensure that every nuance of the audio signal is preserved.
