To ensure an even sound coverage at every seating position in a movie theatre, multiple surround speakers are installed along both the side and rear walls. SpeakerCraft’s AIM Cinema Dipole series has been designed to recreate this wide soundstage without the necessity of a large number of surround speakers.
At the heart of each AIM Cinema dipole speaker is a multi-driver array mounted within a single pivoting and aim- able baffle. This combination provides a very wide dispersion of sound, with the aim-able baffle allowing far more positional flexibility on installation.

Full Range Multi-Driver In-Wall Speaker. Kevlar / Aluminium Drivers
The design brief for the AIM Cinema Monitor was to create a full range in-wall speaker having great accuracy combined with the ability to handle higher sound pressure levels.
All models utilise the equivalent of an AIM LCR array on a pivoting sub-baffle for the mid-bass, mid-range and high frequencies. Situated beneath are two high performance 6-inch paper/Kevlar bass drivers on a fixed baffle. This approach increases both sound output and low frequency extension.

Taking advantage of the research and development resources invested in the original AIM LCR, we have created a sibling with a much smaller footprint. The AIM LCR 3 is a two-way D’Appolito design with dual 3-inch woofers sandwiching a pivoting 1-inch dome tweeter. As with the original AIM LCR, this speaker features a fully pivoting baffle to allow the installer to focus the sound toward the listening area.

Building on the award winning AIM series of fully pivoting ceiling speakers the new In-wall AIM LCR series dramatically improves flexibility of in-wall applications. With a dual woofer and a single dome tweeter configuration the In-wall AIM pivots side to side or up and down (depending on vertical or horizontal installation) by 17 degrees. The pivoting tweeters can be angled an additional 30 degrees. This allows physical tow-in or vertical adjustments while remaining completely flush in the wall. This proprietary feature sets the AIM LCR apart from all other in-wall offerings in the industry.
