The Smart RS is a dedicated RS232 interface, capable of two-way communication between a Living Control CPU and any interface capable of generating and receiving ASCII commands.

Sensitivity and time-out periods are fully adjustable.

The IR Gate permits the use of additional third-party IR receivers for the remote operation of all Living Control systems and their attached components. The IR Gate is compatible with SpeakerCraft and similar designs.
When the location of a DisplayPad or VideoPad does not provide the ideal line of sight for remote operation, the IR Gate will allow discreet IR receivers to be used.

Living Control Zone Splitter

The Zone Splitter provides an economical means of expanding a Living Control system to additional rooms.
The RoomBox 4 and RoomBox 6 are capable of providing independent source selection and volume levels to four and six areas (zones) respectively.
When an installation requires further expansion, the Zone Splitter will allow two rooms to be connected to a single zone. Both rooms share source and volume levels, but are given independent muting.
