The secret to great lighting is being able to control it. Match your activity or mood to your visual environment. Set the lights as you need them and the setting is automatically saved as one of your custom scenes. Retrieve it later at the touch of a button; no individual switches or dimmers to adjust again and again. The possibilities are endless. In your living room, you can pre-set the lighting controls to suit the way that you live “Cinema”, “Homework”, “Entertaining”, “Cleaning”. Then with a hand-held remote control (or even your universal TV remote), you can change the ambience of your room without leaving your chair. You can control all the lights in one room or indeed the whole house from just one button and control natural light with a motorised window solution. You can also link the lighting controls to your security and AV systems.
Control Units have both a maximum power capacity limit per zone and a maximum power capacity limit per unit. Each zone cannot exceed the total Watts listed on the product, and each unit cannot exceed the total Watts outlined for the product. However, the maximum unit capacity can be allocated among each individual zone in the unit. For example, on a 4-zone unit at 230V with a maximum zone capacity of 800W and a maximum unit capacity of 2300W, some zones will not reach the individual zone maximum because the total unit maximum cannot exceed 2300W. Check total unit maximums before ordering

Rako ACM - Upgrade Module for the RA-Bridge and WA-Bridge
|
|
A plug-in adaptor for a Rako
Bridge (WA, RA) to enable control of
third party audio devices from
Rako transmitters such as RCM
and WCM wall-panels.
The ACM (Audio Control Module) is a compact adaptor board which
connects inside a Rako Bridge and enables 'Maps' from a Rako wallpanel
to be re-transmitted as commands for ethernet based audio systems such
as SonosTM and LinnTM (contact Rako for more details). Configurable using
Rasoft programming software the ACM allows Rasoft to find devices and
allows maps to be created from standard Rako transmissions to 'Audio
Messages'.

Rako TCM - Upgrade module for the RA-Bridge
|
|
A time-clock and advanced
programming module that can
be connected to a RA-Bridge or
a WA-Bridge converting them to
RTC and WTC Bridges
respectively.
TCM (TIMECLOCK MODULE)
The TCM module, when fitted to a Bridge, gives the Rako system both
timed events and advanced programming features.
The TCM timeclock unit has a battery backed real-time clock which,
when connected, synchronises with internet time. The TCM also has a
full astronomic clock feature allowing timed events to be programmed
either on a fixed time, or based on Dawn/Dusk cycles.

Rako RTC Bridge-To interface with Rako wireless dimmers with Ethernet
|
|
This product is now discontinued. It has been replaced by the RK-HUB
A powerful network interface for
use with a Rako wireless system.
The RTC-Bridge acts as a
programming interface as well
as having ethernet access for
app control via smartphones and
tablets.
The RTC-Bridge also has a realtime
clock allowing advanced
programming, timed events, and
holiday mode control.
The RTC-Bridge provides the connection between the Rako wireless network and a
laptop running Rako's programming software RASOFT. A laptop can connect to
the RTC-Bridge either directly using a crossover cable or, using a router, via WiFi.

Rako RAPIR - Presence Sensor
|
|
The RAPIR is a ceiling mounted 360o PIR motion sensor with Rakom RF capabilities
A ceiling mount PIR motion detector with a 360o sensor pattern. The unit is ideally suited to office and residential applications where automatic scene selection is required.
The RAPIR motion detector module allows scenes to be selected automatically via movement. In factory default setting, the unit will select scene 1 and off, with a timeout of 5 minutes. When configured with the RASOFT programming software, it is possibleto select which scene is activated and modify the timeout period. The RAPIR also listens to RCP push button wall plates, to enable and disable the PIR motion function when not required. Mounting is via a 64mm diameter ceiling cutout, where a plastic collar is fitted. The housing is then pushed into place without the need for fixing screws. This method of installation ideally suits plasterboard or solid ceilings as it avoids the need for rear access to the unit and protects the surrounding finish.
