The history of SpeakerCraft is a story of innovation, determination and a drive to provide technology that makes a difference in the lives of their customers. From its genesis over thirty years ago as a small retail storefront the company later began producing loudspeakers for motor homes. This led to SpeakerCraft creating the first in-wall speaker. The company became an OEM manufacturer for some of the largest names in the audio business. In 1994 SpeakerCraft released a series of custom installed loudspeakers under their own brand. The key to their success was in the selection of Jeremy Burkhardt, an enthusiastic young man who had cut his teeth on the retail floor and spent countless hours selling and installing audio systems. He not only forged alliances with the top dealers in the country but he was also a major force in new product development. Through his incredible energy and determination the products and support from SpeakerCraft set new standards in the industry.

SpeakerCraft’s Base Adapter is the interface between the MODE iPod Base and MZC multi-room controller.
Control data, iPod power and stereo audio are all routed through the adapter and fed on to their required locations.
A unique stacking arrangement allows up to six Base Adapters to be joined together sharing one data and power supply connection.

The MKP-1.1 is SpeakerCraft’s primary keypad controller at the heart of the MZC controllers.
Many Multiroom keypads suffer from an overly complicated array or limited functionality, SpeakerCraft’s EZ Pad system was designed to enable each system to be tailored to the precise requirements of each client. Based around a single gang J box plate the MKP-6.1 is the master keypad providing source selection and basic function controls. With its configurable layout the MKP-6.1 can be arranged to provide the exact number of source and function buttons. Each MKP-1 can be configured for the individual requirements of each zone.

The S4 and S8 selectors make it possible to connect safely up to eight pairs of loudspeakers to any single amplifier.
Sonically neutral, the S4 and S8 provide simple push-button selection for music around the home. Almost 100 customised labels make for accurate room selection.
The InstaLLock termination system, available separately, makes for a fast and totally safe connection between amplifier and speakers. All speaker cables are fed, un-stripped, into the InstaLLock harness, the connector lever is closed and the 8-way connector plug is then plugged directly into the S4 or S8. No cable stripping or screwdrivers are required, avoiding the possibility of shorting through "stray" wires.
