The Reactor 900 delivers a rated 900W of amplification and hits an ear-punishing maximum volume of 98dB SPL, while the 600W of power in the cheaper Reactor 600 reaches a maximum SPL of 95dB.
It's capable of covering the entire frequency range (18Hz to 21kHz), though, the larger Phantom speakers go far beyond what a human ear can hear, and are rated from 14Hz to 27kHz.
The speaker has a front-facing 40mm full range driver, which handles the mid- and high-end frequencies, while the two 100mm woofers on the side take the low-end. By comparison, the larger Phantom speakers have two 160mm woofers partnered with a dedicated front-facing 110mm mid-range driver and a 30mm tweeter in its centre. They also deliver more power and go louder.
Despite its smaller size, there really isn’t anything that can compete – both in terms of raw sound quality and for its extremely powerful, distortion-free sound.

the compact speaker is fairly solid at 11lbs (approx 5kg) in weight and 3L in volume, and it produces a maximum volume of 98 dB SPL, with 900W peak power. The clarity and range of the sound are impressive – 18Hz infra-bass and 21Khz treble. It has the usual operational features seen on the market – wireless connection through Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Airplay and UPnP, remote control through an app – but its compact size is the draw here.
