Beautifully made Tab Tensioned screens that hold the projection material firmly in place via side mounted nylon tabs and extra heavy bar at its base. Features built in infra-red remote and 12volt trigger with rigid curved aluminium casing.
Superior Projection Screen Surface
The material on a Tab Tension screen is not only pulled down by the weight of the bar but also from the left and right side by a Nylon string. The string is periodically connected to the material via small "Tabs", hence the name Tab Tension.
Unlike a standard screen, a Tab Tension screen has a flexible material so that it can be pulled taught from all sides. The Grandview Cyber screens have a unique ratchet mechanism at each end of weighted bar so that the tensioning strings can be easily adjusted. The US made material is optimised for home cinema use, producing a high contrast and uniform reflectivity. A black PVC backing prevents light leakage so that the screen can be positioned in front of a window. Tab Tensioned Projector Screens
Built in Infra-red remote control and projector trigger
All Cyber Tab Tensioned electric screens feature built in infra-red remote control and come with a simple hand held remote. The IR receiver is located on the front of the curved case but should the screen be installed behind a pelmet or recessed into the ceiling, a small external IR eye is included. Also included is a 12volt trigger input, this allows the screen to be activated from any projector or surround sound amp with a 12volt output. A 10m mono mini jack cable is included to connect the screen to a 12volt output device.
Case and Motor Design
The aluminium diamond white case has an elegant curved profile making it one of the nicest looking screens on the market. The rigid sturdy design keeps the internal roller perfectly straight and any motor noise to a minimum. The Cyber series projector screens all use SOMFY motors, the same motors found in the likes of Dalite and Stuart cinema screens.

Mounting Bracket
Cyber projection screens feature one of the best mounting systems on the market. Two small brackets fit to the wall or ceiling anywhere along the length of the case. Once the screen is clipped into the brackets an aluminium lever secures it in position.
The screen can only be lifted off the brackets when the lever if pressed in.
Other features and measurements
Just like televisions, projector screens are measured in imperial feet and inches. The screen is measured by the width of the material from left to right. The standard sizes are 6ft, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft. The viewable area is the white part of the screen which is slightly smaller due to the surrounding black borders. The Cyber screens top black border can be adjusted from 0 to 20"/50cm to give the desired screen position
