Linn Solid Base Kit

Solid aluminium base board for SONDEK LP12. As fitted on the Majik LP12. Supplied with 4 new rubber feet and 10 wood screwn to firmly attach this board to your existing wooden plinth.

Supplied as standard on Linn's Majik LP12, the Solid Base is manufactured from high quality aluminium and is fixed directly to the wooden plinth of the turntable.

The Solid Base provides a fixed, rigid platform for the turntable. This is often preferred on set-ups where the turntable is placed on a cabinet or shelf that provides its own isolation from vibrations. Alternatively, specify the Trampolin base board to benefit from the integrated vibration isolation this provides to the LP12.

The Solid Base board can be specified on all new Linn Sondek LP12 turntables and can also be used to upgrade your existing Sondek LP12 if it has an older ply base board. Adding the solid aluminium base board to your Sondek LP12 is a simple and effective way to improve the stiffness of the chassis and hence the performance of your turntable.
