MODIFICATION No. 1 - Structural
Improvement = 73% (percentage improvement is relative to an arm incorporating all the mods listed here). The cost of the structural mod has been kept well below it's actual performance value so that it is within reach of those with budget turntables. For the modified RB250 you will need a stylus balance or force gauge to set the tracking force.

MODIFICATION No. 2 - Internal rewire
With high grade Litz wire (the internal rewire includes adding a dedicated earth lead, attached at the head shell and then running to your amplifier). The old cartridge tags are replaced with gold plated, copper beryllium versions . The cartridge lead out wires are also upgraded with silver plated, PTFE insulated wire. Improvement = 12%

MODIFICATION No. 3 - External rewire
Replaces the existing cable with a special, low resistance, high performance cable, screened to earth - and including gold plated phonos. Please note we have carried out tests on literally hundreds of different cable designs. Improvement = 9%

MODIFICATION No. 4 - High Grade phono plugs
Replaces brass phono plugs with high conductivity Aluminium phono plugs – Over twice as conductive as brass and very audibly so. Improvement = 6%
