Several types of noise and distortion are reduced with the use of these conditioners. The key parameter is the reduction of 'common mode' noise, that is noise and distortion that is equal to both the live and neutral wires on the incoming mains.
The PowerBlok P1000 will provide up to 1000VA of continuous mains power, and 5000VA of short term transient power. This is sufficient to power the majority of domestic Hi Fi systems in use today. However, we recommend that for best performance a considerable margin of latitude is allowed. Therefore we suggest that for stereo systems of up to 250 watts per channel, the PowerBlok P1000 will be sufficient. If your power amplifiers are between 250 and 500 watts per channel then use one PowerBlok P1000 for each channel.
