The TX-SW-IW-0201-KIT 2-Gang in-wall transmitter features a front-facing HDMI and VGA with audio inputs offering local source connection and 5Play connectivity from HDBaseT output, Ethernet, power, RS-232 and IR connections located in-wall.
Able to function either as a single source point-to-point extender solution or as part of a compatible HDBaseT matrix system containing an HDBaseT input for remote source connection, the The TX-SW-IW-0201-KIT supports single-cable transmission of uncompressed 4K @ 24Hz signals up to 70m/230ft and 1080p/48Hz to 100m/328ft.
Perfect for use within small meeting room or classroom environments, the TX-SW-IW-0201-KIT in-wall transmitter accepts both VGA or HDMI signals, automatically switching between either input. When paired with its included RX-70-4K receiver or a compatible WyreStorm matrix switcher, the TX-SW-IW-0201-KIT transmitter can also be powered remotely via PoH with no mains power or separate PSU required at transmission locations. A built-in IR window ensures effortless control of the screen or projector with bi-directional IR and RS-232 signals from the receiver able to be broken out from the rear of the transmitter for enhanced control options.
The RX-70-4K receiver features the same powerful Class A HDBaseT technology and 5Play feature set support, including a 4K chroma sub-sampling colour palette of 4:2:2 for the optimal 4K pixel management-to-bandwidth balance to satisfy HDMI 1.4v standards, all wrapped in an impossibly thin chassis for ease of installation.
Serial control is supported when used as part of a WyreStorm H2 Series matrix switcher system, with the RX-70-4K featuring compatibility with leading control systems and switchable RS-232 selection for firmware updates.
In terms of power, the RX-70-4K can remotely power the TX-SW-IW-0201-KIT in-wall transmitter when used as part of a point-to-point extender system. Either transmitter or receiver can also be powered remotely by a PoH enabled WyreStorm matrix switcher if used as part of a HDBaseT matrix distribution. The RX-70-4K also offers improved 12v power connectivity via its phoenix port and threaded DC power port for standard and locking DC power plugs.
Signal and device activity is illustrated by panel LED indicators for power supply, signal status for established display connection, Link for confirmed HDBaseT connection between matrix/receiver and HDCP presence in signal - all giving instant visual confirmation of operational status and helping to identify potential issues.
